Dear Friends,
California isn’t working and the State Legislature deserves a big part of the blame. Years of trying to legislate, regulate, and tax our way to prosperity has created high taxes, massive debt and a bloated, out of control, bureaucracy. We need to clean house in Sacramento.
We need leaders with real world experience – the kind that will enable them to completely overhaul the way our state government works. Where there is now bloated bureaucracy and massive unfunded-pension liabilities, we need streamlined government that doesn’t try to create prosperity (we’ve seen how well that has worked) but rather steps away and allows individuals to run their own lives, and their own businesses as they see fit.
I am running for the new 74th Assembly District in 2012, which includes my home in Huntington Beach and my business in Newport Beach. This is a new “wide open” seat – nobody running represents more than 20% of the district.
My priorities are to: Encourage Private Sector Job Growth, Grow the Economy, not the Government, Stop Tax Increases, Hold Government Accountable and Invest in important things like Local Schools, Public Safety and Roads.
In closing, I want to encourage you to fill out an online endorsement form, and if you would be willing to do so, make a contribution towards my effort.
Thank you so much for your past and future support.
Sincerely,
Keith Carlson
